FIRE Paintings
1997 - 1998

This series was my first attempt at constructing abstractions of ephemeral images.

I started to study the forms of fire, the shapes and colors of the flame, until I could reproduce them from memory. All of these paintings were produced without photographic reference material or preparatory drawings.

There are 44 works in this series. All works are oil on canvas or hardboard.
